How Space Is Mapped In The Future

In the future outer space is mapped and charted automatically by scanning machines and sensors that code and catalogue planets and star systems automatically off scans which are catalogued and stored in an automatic database for future retrieval.

When a member of Space Commands detects and unknown signature it is looked up in the database to the automatically returned name from the scan and returns the code to reveal the automatically generated named based on it's chemical composition and magnetic signatures and returns the planet name based on it's material composition.

For example.  Eribum-Alka-741

In Space Command planets and star systems are not named by individuals but are automatically generated by the artificially intelligent computer scanners which return their name based on a predetermined  formula  complementary to their material composition.

This method of mapping planets and star systems was not developed by Space Command but was discovered when they entered outer space as the common method used by other planets to map star systems and was adopted by Space Command as the standard method used by all planets in the known solar systems. It is unknown where the technology originated from in outer space but is used by all planets as the common method to name planets and star systems so that all planets who are mapping outer space have the same names approximately retuned to them when they use their scans.

Meaning, all other planets call the star systems and their planets the same names based in this formula.

Example:

Star system E1746-A5-741

Planetary Signature

E - Erbium

A - Alkaloy

Planet name would be - Eribum-Alka-741

What this creates in Space Command is an overall understandable universe that is understood by most species on other planets in outer space. This creates a common understanding between all species and way for them to interact although this is usually hostile.

Naming the species on other planets is generated by using the same methods, scanners will automatically detect elements and minerals frequency signatures in the solar system of new planets to generate a name for the planet, in combination with this Space Command receives a code containing a sample of environmental signatures around living creatures to give them a potentional name.

For example on Eribum-Alka-741, the planet's outer space signature combined with the environmental signature looks for common materials around  metals, plants, minerals and food sources. Artificially intelligent computers will then automatically assign a code name to the living creatures based on the planet and environmental signature such as "Erbiumites" or "Erbium Alka's" based on the frequency scans although inhabitants on planets outside of Earth's region will have given them regular names which the Space Command team will have to identify manually on a planets surface.

Earth's spatial perimeter in the galaxy is filled with remote space stations and scientific monitoring stations that continuously scan for attempted penetrations of Earth's space by remote planets. Outposts containing small crews of only several people are common in the outer regions of Earth's space, this is crucial for the protection of Earth by Space Command.

These small outposts are the first lines of defence for Earth as they contain warning systems of attempted invasions, these outposts contain several small escape crafts and weapons and only serve as a first point monitoring station to check for magnetic signals used by equipment from enemy planets attempting to read Earth's magnetic frequencies.

These outposts are usually in no danger as it can be weeks or months before an enemy can penetrate the actual area around the outpost which takes some time before a complete map can be made for an attempted invasion through an enemy worm hole.

Magnetic blockers are also contained on the outposts to help keep new wormholes from opening which attempt to condense and scramble enemy magnetic fields to create an unreadable signature or close their attempted openings.

Large battalions of Space Command ships are stationed back several light years from the outposts and monitor their scanning frequencies and signals and can reach the outposts in several minutes through mapped Space Command worm holes if they have to provide assistance.

These remote stations are back at a safe distance from uncharted spacial regions in order to provide Space Command time to evaluate threats and transmit signals through the outpost sensors into hostile territory if they need to try and disrupt enemy systems attempting to penetrate Earth's space.

These battalions are the Earth's main front line of defence from invasion by distant enemy planets and the ships there continuously undergo testing and development to help them endure the conditions of harsh space. Military weapons testing and Space Command drills take place in this area for training exercises and scientific research.

Vacant planets have been setup in these regions for soldier training, defence and invasion exercises and have been turned into testing grounds for weapon testing and military manoeuvres plus metal and resource manufacturing for Space Command. On these vacant planets inside Earth's spacial region manufacturing facilities have been setup to produce ships and weapons needed by Space Command who has vast facilities constructed for mining and metal production on these planets.

As you approach the Earth from these remote regions space becomes more protected with more advanced weapons and scientific instrumentation with larger fleets of reserve Space Command forces.

The spacial region around the Earth has been set up as a vast scientific and military system with space stations, military and science stations all through out Earth's region.

For example, Science Region 1 in Space Command would be a large Science Installation floating in remote space as a science and medical research station that would be back from the front lines of remote outer space. These installations would be used for medical transport from the front lines of space combat to emergency medical stations.

All though space Earth has setup these science and command centers around key areas of Space Command's functions.

Each region is broken up into science and development stations like buildings on Earth only in orbit and floating in space around key areas used by Space Command including planets, worm holes and front lines of Earth's hostile space. These functions include all necessary tools and facilities to operate the Earth's functions for Space Command while in outer space.

Space around the Earth looks like vast floating cities which orbit planets in Earth's space and stand alone space stations for science and military functions for weapons development, science development and military training and exercises.

Outer space in Space Command around the Earth resembles a large and vast complex system of planets and scientific stations creating a combination of outer space and planetary installations which interact like a large closed Earth system.

Although inhabitable planets around the Earth contained no humans they carry a wide variety of animal and plant species and landscapes vastly different from the Earth. Many of these planets have been colonized in the distant past by Space Command and are now large stand alone planetary installations which resemble the Earth.

Away from the Earth a large system of colonized planets exists as copies of the Earth mixed with space stations and science installations floating in space which creates an extensive futuristic human society that occupies many planets and orbiting stations.

In the future the human population has grown and is much larger than today and has colonized new planets which contain many people and descendants from the Earth in a vast galaxy region populated by humans from the Earth.

Other planets which may contain mining operations by the military may have no breathable atmosphere like other colonized planets but are setup to maintain construction and produce materials needed for Space Command, Earth and it's colonized planets. Although conditions on these planets may be harsh, materials produced in this containimated unbreathable environment where mining and production takes place this allows clean materials to be transported to Earth and it's colonized planets with no harm done to them by human manufacturing or materials production on the inhabited planets.
